This is a Back-to-School campaign for ZOOMMER – one of the biggest electronics retailers in Georgia.
We wanted to focus on a feeling everyone knows: buying something and then realizing it was cheaper somewhere else. That moment of regret became the heart of our idea.
In the film, a father and son happily walk out of the ZOOMMER store with their new tech, while above them, clouds with human faces start to cry – symbolizing shoppers who forgot to check ZOOMMER’s prices first. Then, giant lips-shaped clouds appear, representing pop-star Lela Tsurtsumia singing one of her most popular songs: “These are tears of regret that wet the eyes.” Also, to show how people often waste money without thinking, we connected the story to the then-relevant issue of pyramid schemes in Georgia.
Our message was clear: think before you spend, choose wisely, and always check prices before buying electronics in ZOOMMER first.
